Directions to Lion Encounter, Zambia

Want to know where in the world we are? We don’t blame you, we’re based in the home of one of the Seven Wonders of the World! Here’s some directions and a map to help you find us.

Coming from Lusaka: Continue on the main road through town then turn right at the traffic lights…..

Coming from the Zimbabwean border: Continue on the main road until you meet the traffic lights, turn left at the lights…..

Then, ALL:

From the traffic lights you should have turned onto the Kazungula Road (may also be signed Nakatindi Road). Then you continue straight on this road for approximately 10KM. You’ll go through one entrance gate to the National Park whilst on this journey. Keep going until you see the sign for Thorntree Lodge which will be on your left. Turn down this track. Keep going straight. You’ll cross over Fashionable replica a railway and see a boom gate. Keep going straight (the boom gate will be open) and keep going straight and you’ll start to see some buildings. Basically, keep going straight until you can’t go any further and you should be at our hospitality boma where a guide will meet you.
